About Daniel

Daniel McClure is a 6th generation Oklahoman committed to making the world a better place – one day at a time. Daniel earned his Juris Doctorate graduating Cum Laude from Oklahoma City University School of Law where he attended as a Hatton W. Sumners Scholar. Daniel has also earned degrees from other institutions including a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Oklahoma, dual Bachelors degrees from the University of Central Oklahoma in Economics and Political Science, and an Associates degree from Rose State College.

Daniel currently serves as the Mayor in McLoud and previously served as Vice-Mayor and City Councilman in Midwest City prior to re-locating to Pottawatomie County, OK. While on the Council in Midwest City he worked on several large economic development projects, served on the Hospital Authority & Utility Authority, and also served as the Chairman of the Taskforce on Crime, Punishment, and Rehabilitation.
